mojo monday 288 & simon says stamps challenge ~ Happy Birthday !
First I would like to thank "Sarah" for such a lovely sketch for this Mojo challenge # 288. I loved making this one.
It has been a busy month for us for 1st. the gender party for our daughter Jodee, then a Vacation up to Orlando for 5 beautiful days, We got to visit and be with old friends from Jersey that now live here in Fl. and that were also Police Officers with hubby in Woodbridge NJ. and now We are getting ready for a Trip up to Jersey and Pa. to visit Family and Friends We have not been up for sometime so this trip is well over due it is getting more and more exciting as we schedule to see everyone....
just a quick card for challenge # 288 from mojo Monday,& for simon says stamps challenge. I am happy to be back making my cards.
I decided to make this a Birthday Card for a very special friend , as I missed her Hubby's so sorry Bob.
1 - Hot Pink, Sage & Yellow card stock by Stampin Up !
2 - Printed card stock ( All Seasons) by Recollections
3 - Clear stamp by Hampton Art " Happy Easter to you"
4 - All Seasons card stock paper by Recollections
5 - Classic butterfly punch all around the page by Martha Stewart
6 - Small Butterfly and punch by Martha Stewart
7 - hot glue gun
8 - glues stick by Scotch
9 - Pink and white polka dot ribbed ribbon.
10 - Classic Stampin'Up! stamp pad "Always Artichoke"
I cut my card 6"x4 1/2" then I cut my printed paper and my other card stock following the sketch, I used my my glue stick to put the paper in place then added my hot pink, sage green and yellow card stock put it in place then, used my clear stamp Happy Birthday. I added my pink and white polka dot ribbon. I enjoyed putting this card together I have been so busy the past couple of week,s I have not been posting any of my cards. I would like to add that this Beautiful Old pitcher was My great Grandmothers from Italy and handed down through the generations to me I cherish it always and love sharing it with my cards from time to time.
