White Christmas

Happy Thanksgiving One and All One month until Santa.

I love playing along in most challenges and love making each of my cards. I used white craft stock paper from my stash and I layered it with white craft paper, embossed it with my  Darcie Snowflake Embossing folder. I then added a pretty white flower with a gold center and stamped in Gold with my   wood block stamp from Michaels Craft Store "Merry Christmas". I finished it off with Gold sequins by fawn lawn.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you're all having a wonderful week. I'd love to have you become a New follower of my blog. and I will be happy to do the same or you. I always enjoy making new blog friends.

I'm sharing my card in the following challenge.

  1. Thank you for entering our challenge at ABC Christmas but to qualify for the prize you need to follow the theme this week which is a 4 x 4 card or box, thank you for your entry.

  2. Pretty card Dottie. The textured background looks great with the layered flower. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Just a heads up about a couple of things. A couple of weeks ago you left a comment for us on the Freshly Made Sketches blog and I responded to you via an email at the email address you have listed in your sidebar (dinkydoodle52@gmail.com). However, I kept getting a message that the email could not be sent. I don't know if the email address is incorrect or whether there is something wrong with it, but I wanted to let you know that the FMS design team was not ignoring you! And secondly, I think it's great that you are linking to the vendor sites where you are getting your supplies, but you want to double check your names and websites before you post. In this post you've said your sequins are by fawn lawn but the link goes nowhere. I suspect it is because the site you really want is called Lawn Fawn. It's better if you actually link to the gold sequin page on the Lawn Fawn website where other people can find the actual gold sequins that you used rather than to the home page of the website. You can also avoid mistakes by copying and pasting the link to the website rather than typing it yourself. If you had done that you would have known right away that fawnlawn.com was not the correct site.

Sorry for the wordy comment here, but I was afraid if I sent you an email you wouldn't get it and I wanted to give you a hint or two!
