~ Merry Christmas ~ Pretty palette # 76





 I want to say I am sorry that I have been MIA  for so long  from MTME, this have been crazy busy around here. first I lost my cousin suddenly she was only 54 yrs old RIP Holly Ann,
then we had our grand daughters Birthday at Disney world, stayed for a few day's,
visited old friends   that also retied from being a police officer with my Joe.
Got to see Bob and Gunella his lovely wife. Then it was Thanksgiving with our wonderful Son and his New Wife Molly, at their home with their family.

Now on to my card. Its great to be back.


 First I want to Thank you for Visiting, and now here is the list of products I used for this challenge.

  9 - Hot Glue Gun
 10 - Small Pop dot's

Tutorial:
I used the colors requested for this MTME Pretty Palette # 76 and even a few more. Using my Aqua Card stock by Stampin Up I glued my printed paper to it.  I then added my Aqua Sheer Bow I made and added my "8" Turquoise pearls, added my Cherry and Aqua Aspen snowflakes dredged in extra fine Glitter "Snow"with my small pop dot's. this was a very easy card to design, I loved doing it. I do hope everyone had a very happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

Territorial :

 First I choose all my products and style for my card using the sketch by MOJO MONDAY.Challenge
# 269 using  Card Stock by Jolly and Bright  by Recollection  from my stash I also used Vanilla card stock by STAMPIN'UP!   I cut My card to size, then glued on my choice of papers to my main card using a plaid and also a green and gold  printed paper. I then cut out 2 more pieces of Vanilla  Stampin' up! card stock and also 2 more pieces of the Plaid and also the green and Gold papers. I then glued each of them in place and ran a Red Sheer Ribbon across the center then also made a sheer Deep Red Sheer Bow and  Hot glued it in place on the upper left side of the card and then Hot glued my Green Snow flake  and Martha Stewart Gem in the center, using my Spellbinder Die and machine I dredged my Circle in Extra Fine Glitter.
  I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I always do creating them, Always remember you do not need to use the products I use let your creativity flow and use what ever you have on hand in your stash.

The day after Thanksging 2012
















First I want to say what an amazing day we had yesterday with our family. our son Gary and his new Bride Molly did an Amazing dinner for us. So very much food.....  and then we went to our Daughter Jodee and had desert with her Paul, Gracie and Chris (Paul's Mom.) so here are some of the picture of yesterday .... Enjoy.WE are so very very Blessed to have such a wonderful family, our new Daughter-in-law is just amazing seems like there is nothing she can't do......and best of all Our Son is so very Happy God Bless them.. Jodee and Paul are also a Perfect match for each other. miss our girls that are not living close any more we love and miss them but we want them all to be as happy as we have been for 30 years. oh and yesterday we started our 22nd year here in Florida and my hubby is now retired  going on his 22nd yr as well his Anniversary was yesterday as well form when he first went on the police force when he was only 18 yrs old..We have so very many things to be so grateful for, I thank God everyday  for the Blessing he has given us.
I hope everyone had a wonderful and Very Happy Thanksgiving as well

Wishing Everyone A Very Happy Thanksgiving


We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, it has been a very Busy weekend and now this whole week will also just be crazy, our Family  is going to "Disney" for a few days for Our Grand daughter "Gracie 5th Birthday Party", The Family will be staying in one of  Disney's Newest Hotels
"Arts of Animation" it is quite expensive but well worth it just to see a little girl smile. Then were going to Down town Disney on Wednesday and Gracie is going to be done up as a Princess in her princess dress shoes,hair& Makeup. @ the  Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. We expect to be home late Wednesday Night, and back on the road  Early for a Wonderful Family Thanksgiving at Our Son Garys and his New Wife Molly's home in Zephryhills. I will post pix later next week, I can't wait to get the picture of her Beautiful Pies, and there new custom built home.  I will not be doing my weekly challenges as there is just too much going on this week. but I will be doing it for the next Challenges for next week.

Again Have a very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving Family is Everything We are so Blessed to have such a wonderful family .

Merry & Bright mojo-monday-267






  Can't believe Christmas is right around the corner, it is mid November and the days here on the West Coast of Florida is still in the 80's, seems like it is not going to cool off anything soon. it is just beautiful warm sunny days this is why we have our A/C on about 10 or 11 months out of the year, I remember our family swimming on Christmas day a few years back. when everyone in the NE is freezing it is still beautiful here our land scrapers are still coming every week to keep the property beautiful for us. well enough about that now on to my card for this new challenge At Mojo Monday # 267 God Bless and I hope everyone has a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.

using  Card Stock by Jolly and Bright  by Recollection  from my stash I also used Red Card stock by STAMPIN'UP!,  I then decided to make this a Christmas style card. I cut all of my papers to size and then, Using my.
  on to the Card I then placed My  paper on the main card along with my Red Ribbed  Ribbon at the top of my card then added Merry & Bright at the center of my card  after gluing my ribbon under that. I added my  my Martha Stewart "Himalayan Large Snow flake" Hand Punch  added a cream color poinsettia  in the center of my Snow Flake.   I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I always do creating them, Always remember you do not need to use the products I use  let your creativity flow and use what ever you have on hand in your stash.

( Note) the little shelf sitters (I got 4 of them 3 snowmen and one Santa) of Santa and the Snowman that are by my Card I picked up at my local CVS about a week ago.

"Happy 5th Birthday Gracie"







  This is where Gracie will be going to get her out fit and her hair done as a Princess in the Market Place at Disney World Orlando


Sorry I have been MIA but so much going on with Family and Friends in NJ and  NY the Northeast took a real bad hit two weeks in a row first Sandy then a Snow storm our prayers go out to everyone effected, there are so many homeless right now and they are NOT getting the help they need. food, heat & places to live Etc. We are sending many many prayers to everyone up there God Bless and try and keep strong.
We lost my Cousin last night only 54 yrs old. RIP Holly Ann.

 Now on to my card this is just a Special card I made for our Granddaughter Gracie  as you all know about her from  past posts.she is just one of our very special and much loved grandchildren.

Supplies:

Card stock by STAMPIN' UP!   deep pink & lime green,
Disney paper from my stash with mickey in all colors on it.
Spellbinder die cutting machine
Spellbinder Nestabilities  "Fleur de Lis Squares"
Double faced tape
large and small pop dots
Thin satin ribbon, baby blue and Lavender hot Glue gun
Thumb punch "MICKEY MOUSE"
Gems in light blue, red, yellow and lavender
Hand made stick pin
Seem ribbon lavender Bow
Pink liquid pearls
wax paper


I chose all the things I wanted to use on this card our granddaughter just love Disney so much I had to make her a Disney card.( We will all be going on the 20th of the month to celebrate her Birthday at the newest place at Disney Arts of Animation resort.my hubby and I are staying with friend and the kids are going to the resort. for the night and next day then that evening Gracie is going to be done up as a Princess in her princess dress shoes and hair.  ok back to the card after I chose everything I then thought about how I wanted it to look so I went in to my supplies and chose my Spellbinder Machine and the Spellbinder Nestabilities  "Fleur de Lis Squares" using the 3 different sizes,( just a note to make it easier to separate your paper from your dies use a piece of wax paper)  I cut out and layered them on to the base card that is 6"x4 1/2"I added my jewels and Micky heads and put them in place with the pop dots, I then used my hot glue gun to put the jewels in place and the lavender bow and small bow.I then printed up my inside saying and my saying for the very center of the card "HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY GRACIE" and using a large pop dot I put it in place.
