Light House Collection

Just wanted to share of of My beautiful Light house I have been collecting for years now. each of them are very special some were gifts from friends and some from Family. Our son and daughters are forever adding to them for me, they know the only kind I collect are "Harbor-lights" they are the Best of all, They are the only company that duplicates original light house. I have Pillows Blankets clocks Dishes Etc. So I hope you enjoy them as much as We do  this is just part of what I now have. Thanks for visiting. Wishing you all a very Happy Easter.. We are having a BBQ here for Easter it is going to be 80* and we are opening our Pool.

Mojo monday #286

happy easter to you !

it has been a busy month for us for the gender party for our daughter then a vacation up to Orlando for 5 beautiful days, We got to visit and be with old friends from Jersey that now live here in Fl. and that were also Police Officers with him in Woodbridge NJ.  and now Easter is early this year so we are doing a BBQ with the Family it going to be 80* here for Easter.....( Time to open our pool)   I hope Everyone has a very Happy Easter so on to my card....

 just a quick card for challenge # 286 from mojo Monday

 I decided to put march as well as easter apart of this greeting card I loved the papers and then created my card from my stash.
 supplies I used:
Lavender and  Saffron card stock by Stampin Up !
Printed card stock ( All Seasons) by Recollections
Clear stamp by Hampton Art " Happy Easter to you"
Tiny brads by Recollections
Seweasy by memory keepers
embossing stylus set by Martha Stewart
2" lever punch ( Round)  
Dimensional stickers by recollections Premium ribbon by American Crafts ( pink and white polka dots)
hot glu gun
glues stick by Scotch
Yellow ribbed ribbon.

 Tutorial:
 I cut my card 6"x 6" then I cut my printed paper and my saffron paper following the sketch, I used my brads and some of my glue stick to put the paper in p[lace then added my saffron card stock some gems and brads to put it in place then used my clear stamp "happy easter to you "
 I added my pink and whit polka dot bow.  I enjoyed putting this card together I have been so busy the past couple of week,s I have not been posting any of my cards.

 So very much going on had company for 5 weeks from Jersey now we are heading up soon too to visit Friends and Family, need to get this trip in before July when our newest grand daughter is born. will see our daughter my brother and his family and many many more family members and lots of friends too... very excited about our trip......

Spring 2013 our Home

I got my First Sunburn for the year, and its only March ! LOWES has bags of Red Mulch on sale until Monday for $ 1.00 per bag we bought 20 and saved 5 cents on each bag using our lowes card and we had 6 left from last fall, so I put down a total of
"26" bags today front and back yard all finished and pretty again..... will do it again in late summer......

We had a great Mini Vacation in Orlando great to see old  friends that Hubby worked with as a police officer in Jersey. it is a real brotherhood how great these guys are. 


Now on to the pix of our Yard front and back did a lot today but always worth it .

Here are A few pix from our Daughter Jodee's gender reveal Party. Everyone had a great time and is so excited for Jodee and Paul. there are too many Pictures to post them all so here are some of them of them.

♥ Anniversary 28 years ♥

               ♥    Tomorrow  March 7th will be Our 28th Wedding Anniversary.♥
                        as in all marriages there are bumps along in the journey
                     We learn from them and they make us stronger and closer
                  My Joe was a true Gift from God he is my world My Everything
                 tomorrow we will be married 28 years and together for over 30 now.
                                God tested our strength through the years
                  ♥ and  to make Our love and respect each other even stronger.♥
                                We are doing a special get away next week

 I designed My card using Print shop On my computer and some rubber clear stamps,
 it is exactly what I wanted it to be. thank you for stopping by on our very special day.

♥ Spring ♥ mojo 283

 

Hello Everyone Happy Tuesday, its been a little cool here in Florida for the last few days, but today were back into the 70's and loving it . just a few more weeks and our Pool will be open  and ready to go swimming again. Gracie just can not wait...... Now on to this Challenge from mojo Monday # 283

 Next week I will be giving a very Happy Announcement, Plus Thursday is our 28th Wedding Anniversary & We are planing a special get away for Hubby and I. then come May we hope to make a long trip Up North.




Products:

 1 - Black & Saffron Card stock by STAMPIN'UP!
 2 - Floral paper  Open Stock
 3 - Circle hand punch by Recollections
 4 - Scalloped round hand  Recollections
 5 - yellow and Black thin satin ribbon
  6 -Bumble bee by Jolees
 7 - glue stick by Scotch
 9 - hot glue gun
10 - rubber stamp "SPRING "


Tutorial : ♥
  I designed my card for any occasion. I chose my Black paper for the card body them I used Saffron card stock  cut it to size. using my Glue stick I placed the saffron card stock on to the Black card (6' x 4 1/2 " ) then using my hand Punches Round and round scalloped circles, I cut  printed papers using that die .I then added my black and Yellow satin Bow, I then placed my circle's on the Black card stock and layered the circle with a smaller circle.  I glued them in to place then I added my Embellishments my Black and Yellow satin Ribbon gluing in to place with my hot glue gun.
