Happy New Year "2018"

Hello everyone, sorry I have not been playing along, with Christmas and Family and Friends I was super busy, and also I am now a New DT for Word Art Wednesday. I am honored to have been invited by Karen.

I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas, Our Family and friends I know did. We went to our youngest(Jodee) for Christmas  she did a lovely Italian Dinner ( NO FISH)  she did a out standing job as always.

Today I used Light Blue card stock & Textured card stock  from my stash. I added a clock and a hand from the Tim Holtz Embellishment  collection. I added 2 champagne Glasses using my COTTAGE CUYZ Die. and my Happy New Year Die cut by ELIZABETH craft designs. 
I added a Bow and a flower from my stash. and lastly I added 2 small gold gems on the bows.

Thank you for Visiting my blog today, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy NEW YEAR !busy year for us coming up, our Grandsons are getting married. and We are thinking about moving to a Sr. community Park closer to the Grandchildren. Our Jodee will be moving to Savanna  Ga, and our Cousin Lynn will be moving to Tenn, So I don't see any more trips to New Jersey.

I am asking for Prayers for our Daughter Ginny, she just had her 4th chemo treatment. Praying that will be the last! she has been very sick this time. But Thank God the Doctors are pleased with the results.

Happy Wednesday and Merry Christmas I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. and a Very Happy Healthy New Year "2018"

Wow did this year go by so fast, it was just Summer, I love that We here in America are wishing Merry "CHRIST"mas again keeping CHRIST in Christmas. I am so honored and excited to be a New Design team member here on Word Art Wednesday ! My wish came True ! Thank you Karen.

Today I used Red, Green and White card stock, I used my New die cut set by Spellbinder (S6-012)  .
I added some embellishments from my stash. white seam binding along with a Red spiral, thin red ribbon, a tiny white Rose and Red Berry spray Clusters.

 Happy Saturday evening, I know my post is a little late but I was just invited by Karen to Join her design Team here on Word Art Wednesday, Thank you so much Karen it is a true honor and a dream come true.


I do hope you are all having a wonderful fun weekend, I know many have gotten snow in the northeast , some are happy and others not so much ..beautiful weather here in Tampa bay Fl.

I ordered some new Spellbinder Die cuts right after I accepted Karen's invite. so today I used one of the new Spellbinder "Radiant Rectangles I enjoyed using them but always remember to use a piece of wax paper behind the die cut. Today I used White, Black and music note craft stock.( open stock) I added some a Gold spiral, tan and cream tiny roses. then I made my bow using seam binding brown, a few Designer buttons.

Giving Thanks

Welcome to my blog ,Wow Thanksgiving is coming Tomorrow already, always happy to have Family and Dear Friends around always, Praying everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving and Praying for those that are not with us. Our Beautiful daughter Ginny had her first Chemo Treatment one week ago tomorrow. My poor girl is is such horrible bone pain, but she will always stay positive and will beat this battle. Please pray for our Girl ! We will be in Ga for a Few day early December so we can take her for the 2nd treatment . God 's Will it will be the last and she wont need a total of 6

today I used some Christmas Green card stock layered it with a pretty pink printed card stock,  all from my stash. I added Holly Flourish # B 148 die cut, I made a Pink Poinsettia using my Tim Holtz die cut, a Pink Ribbon For all those fighting Breast Cancer keeping them all in my prayers. I added a white and a Red Heart Button from my stash , also a pretty Pink butter fly on the white heart and a Pink bow on the Pink Poinsettia .  

A special Thank you to Grace Nywening for designing the pink ribbon for my Daughter Ginny

CHRISTMAS TAG

Hello Everyone, this will be my last challenge ,
until I am not needed by

until I am not needed by our beautiful daughter Ginny we all just learned she has progressive breast cancer, she will be getting a port next week, and then they will start her on her Chemo  2 or 3 days a week once it is strong she will have a double mastectomy, as it is also in her nodes. asking for prayers for her.

Now on to the challenge today I used my die cut and made my tag I added red ribbon and a white string, I stamped "Merry Christmas"
I used my Copic pens to color it in and also use my Stickles all from my stash.

Happy HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween ! Before we know it, We will be having Thanksgiving ! and then Christmas.Oh Boy did this year go very fast. Now on to the challenge.
today I chose to do the challenge with a Halloween theme, I used tan card stock, printed word paper, 
I also used my Sizzix Cat die and Pumpkin Die and Tree,Bare.
I added some Embellishments from my stash.

Lastly I added a Button with Orange string, and a tag that reads just Batty about HALLOWEEN. my wood block stamp and black ink.

I hope everyone is doing well, its in the 80's here in Florida, looking forward to cooler weather if were lucky by February for a week maybe 2..

Here are a few new pix of more of what we did in our home.

I love how every thing turned out, I ordered all my decorations from Amazon, Primitive / Country. I did almost everything on my own, Hubby put the tree branch up on the bathroom, and Wall, added the black crows .

everything came together so very nice, in every room. Hubby isn't able to do many things anymore due to the aneurysm's they have found, one in the aorta of his heart and 2 other in the abdominal area. he has had some pretty rough years battling these things.We have tried to warn his two older daughters that this is very dangerous for them and or their Children.
Please Keep My Joe in your Prayers.

Thinking of you

Happy Wednesday everyone, First and most Important, Hubby went to the specialist, they found cancer on his cheek and we are waiting for the results on his neck, Please pray it is not Cancer as well.

We have been busy around here freshening up our Home new paint, New decor wall Borders Etc:

Thinking of You stamped on the front of my card I used White card stock added a printed paper that is coffee stain &  pink and white,  I had on hand to make my card.  I added some Ribbon, By RRR

Warm Wishes

Hello everyone, yes I know it is already Friday, but it has been one of those weeks,

 We have gotten 3 rooms all done with a primitive design to it, and it looks so nice we both enjoy it , I went onto Amazon and found almost everything I needed, I have always been country but now it is primitive country. I'll post pix at the bottom my post.

Today I used North Coast Creations Stamp#NCC49 "Warmest Wishes"  STAMP
I used white card stock from my stash, and using my New PRIMACOLOR PREMIER  Colored Pencils. I bought them on Amazon. I enjoy working with them. this will be Our Christmas card this year. Since We live in Florida We both thought this was perfect.

Heavy Metal

Hello one and all, didn't have time yesterday  to do  my card it was my 65th Birthday and we were busy all day., the Grandchildren were calling I went to my BFF and enjoyed having special time with her, I got lovely gifts, Money Gift cards etc. and Honey took me to OUTBACK for a great dinner. so all in all it was a wonderful day.

Today I made this card for this challenge HEAVY METAL , all the things I used supplies I had in my stash, but it was Fun looking through it to find what I was looking for, So I used Chevron GOLD and White card stock, Cream card stock a doiley , a large clock and gave it Gold hands using my string in gold. I used my Darice Embossing folder -assorted clocks

Hello Everyone  glad to be back and posting again, I know I am a week late on this post, But last week we were dealing with Irma  and now that we are all cleaned up and have internet again.

Now onto my card. today I used a pale green card stock out of my stash
a floral paper from Tim Holtz idea - ology. I added Colossians 4:6  white tiny pearls, and a paper fall flower with a gold brad in the center. I used green and yellow ribbon  by Really Reasonable Ribbon .

to all in the NE be safe it looks like hurricane Maria is coming up the coast, and be hitting the Jersey Coast line. I hoping it won't but I do know how dangerous these hurricanes can be and how much damage they can do. sending Prayers to all in Maria's Path.

Pop it up !

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday to all, the months are flying by so fast. soon I will be working on our Christmas card's and Shopping for everyone Christmas gifts. So much is happening We just found out yesterday that Our Grandson Dale is getting Married on April 21, 2018 they have been together for over 5 years.

Now on to my card. Todays craft paper Chevron  and tan from my stash, I used my Cherry Lynn Designs die cuts, FRM122 Fall Harvest, and Family  AB409 . 3 wabbles  2 on the front and one inside the card. this is a good card for Halloween or Thanksgiving, I love creating each of my cards and there are no two the same. I love playing along in most challenges. Now that I am feeling better I will be more active in the challenges. get back to having my MOJO .

A corn Chucky

Happy Tuesday everyone. Our Internet has been off and on since the storm. We did pretty good,  Irma took part of our back fence down, but with the help of others, Hubby put new poles in and now it is back up. lots of branches came down due to the wind. and the funny thing is, we dont have any trees.

Today I used tan card stock a printed paper over it and then stamped my Squirrel Acorn Chucky  by " North Coast Creations"
I used my colored pencils to color him in and added some leafs , Bought on AMAZON .
 I added some twine, and stamped thanks so much. 

We have been extremely lucky with every storm, for the past 26 years.
there is a story, We we're told Yrs ago that this is blessed grounds,
by the Seminole Indians.  The last big storm to hit our area was in 1922.

FAITH

Happy Wednesday everyone, Here in FLORIDA everyone is preparing for Hurricane Irma. Everyone know this is a very dangerous storm, and We pray for each other, the last storm here in Florida was back in 1960 Hurricane  "DONNA" IRMA is a category 5 and again is very dangerous.

Now on to my card, I Used cream colored craft paper and water color paper by CANSON . I used my branch wood block and my Wood block Pumpkin. I used my copic sketch pens, and my stamp Flowering Faith

I added fall ribbon down the side of my card, and used pop dots under my FAITH. I added small  fall leaves & egg corn. I hope you enjoy my card. I enjoy creating each of them. for the past few months I have just not felt up to playing in many challenges, and now with this storm I pushed myself to do this one to get my mind off the storm.

Fall in Glass.

Hello Everyone, posting a little late in the day, Hubby took me out to dinner and then he took me shopping at our new Seminole Mall , such great stores there, I went to 5 Below, Tuesday Morning. wow what great stores. I bought some beautiful lanterns, a brass and a metal one, and some other goodies for my craft room.

This one has a scarecrow,A pumpkin in a Bucket with flower's,My Country Cousin wagon ( that Our kids gave me over 30 years ago)
Gary, Ginny, Melissa, Stacey, Marie and Jodee. ( Remembering the Good times ) filled with straw from Dollar Tree, small Pumpkins and larger pumpkins a owl In side the glass Lots of Fall Leaves and a small dish on top decorated with Apples and and things.

Can't wait for FALL

Happy Wednesday , it has been a wonderful day a bit warm and humid here in Florida.I truly can't wait to have Fall come. hopefully by December

Today I created my center piece for FALL this is a 2 tier metal rack I got on line at Walmart , it was only $13.97. I put lots of fall leaves in it and filled a wagon with straw.I put the letter "S"  for our last name and I placed some small Pumpkins, and a Anna Lee Dolls  Mouse on a Red leaf and 5" Harvest Mouse.

today I used white card stock, layered with polka dot paper Used my palm tree die cut, Tim Holtz Distress Markers , used my 1/2" mounting tape. I added burlap string from My stash.

 PRAY FOR TEXAS

Back to School

Happy Wednesday everyone, tomorrow My Hubby will be having his 70th birthday, but what he doesn't know is we are throwing him a surprise party on Sunday everything is all set,  I will post pix next week of him at his party, We have only invited about 20 people, keeping it to close Friends and Our Kids and grand kids & babies. 

Today I used cream card stock,  ribbon with pencils, stickers  first school day from my stash, a Heart with ABC on it, I also used my Cuttlebug  machine .    Embossing folder by Cuttlebug "Typeset"    

School here in Florida has been back in since the 10 th of August. I made this card with my Granddaughter Lily in mind, she just started her 
Pre - K. program and she loves it. just like her big sister Gracie.

Happy Wednesday everyone, I always enjoy playing along. I am late today as this morning I had to go with my Joe to his Heart Dr. for more tests. so I go side tracked doing what I need to for him.

Today My card I made from cream craft paper and CANSON WATERCOLOR PAPER.  I used my Our Daily Bread design" Seasons Change and Wheelbarrow stamps.I used my leaf die cuts and a fall colored ribbon across the center of my card. I used Khaki ink by Simon Says.  my copic sketch pens and a couple of pop dots.from my stash.

Beach Birthday

              What a beautiful day here on the west coast of Florida.
 I hope everyone is having a good week, and I am praying for those that are going through difficult times.

Today I used white card stock, printed card stock A multi colored doilie My Happy Birthday Wood Block stamp, colored and mixed shells all from my stash.
I then used my die cut  Palm tree and my tropical stamp. I made a sign and put it on by the shells I added yellow ribbon   I added a gold color tag that I stamped Happy Birthday on. from my stash.

Happy Monday everyone I sure hope you all had a good weekend, WE had a great friend  visit us from NJ he was a SGT On the Woodbridge police department  but is now retired Brother and Sister in Blue they never break that BLUE Line .__________________.

Today I made a Birthday card for today challenge at Simon Says Monday I used white card stock layered a pretty multi color plaid added ribbon  bow, & beautiful roses and spiral from RRR. 
I added a oval  and stamped Happy Birthday using my wood block stamp and Classic Stampin' pad by Stampin UP! Lovely Lilac.
