♥ ♥lovely Easter♥ ♥

First I want to say we had a lovely Easter, I made this Egg shaped card for My Sweet Hubby, and to my surprise My Hubby also designed and made me a Easter card on His Computer. I used my spring design paper by DCWV, I then cut it out to a Egg shape, I added a Purple Ribbon and a teal colored doily then glued on a Blue tag and put a purple ribbon on the tag I then added the word printing them using my DYMO Letratag machine I also added a lavender flower by Recollections "Boutique Fleur "

♥ ♥look what my hubby got me :o)♥ ♥

Here is my New Maytag Dishwasher my Wonderful Hubby got for me. As you can see it is stainless steal and he said he wants us to replace all of our kitchen appliance with stainless. what a wonderful loving man I am blessed with. Thank you my love for all you do for me...You have always treated me like a Queen.
I love the New Dishwasher it has it controls on the top inside and can not be seen from the front of the machine. this is the nicest one we saw, so we got it.

and a New Kitchen Makeover is also coming real soon..So much going on my hubby is re finishing our Wood floors, I am busy painting, I just love when things are nice and clean and in its place. My Hubby just finished a enclosure for us in the back yard off the family room.

He gave me a beautiful new Ring and yes it is real! It is posted on my other blog this is not like him but he blew me away with my ring such a shock...recipesbydottie.blogspot.com

♥ ♥ Suprise ♥ ♥

I put together this card using DCWV paper that I had in my stash I like the soft colors. I hot glued the die cut and stamped it Happy Birthday then added my tag with "it's a party" adhered to it, I then added a metal clip that reads "Suprise" ! and 1 1/2 doilies to the card to finish it off I used some ribbon on the tag and at the bottom of the die cut.

♥ ♥ Altered little Box ♥ ♥

I bought this little box at Michael's in the dollar bin I decided I wanted to do something special with it so I altered it. I used paper I had in my stash with pretty delicate floral print on it I added deep green ribbon all the way around the top and then added a light green in the center of the dark green. I also ran the light green ribbon around the very bottom of this little box. and then made a bow and added a pretty green flower to the center of the top. I think this will make a lovely gift and I plan on making more soon.

♥ ♥ ♥ The Blessing ♥ ♥ ♥

I created this quick little card with yellow and green card stock that I had in my stash, I used my marvy punch ( ribbon stitch cartridge) and laced the ribbon through it. I then glued on the Cross I stamped and colored in with my pencils I placed doilies behind the cross then glued it all on the card. I thought this would make a nice Easter card & naturally my 3 yr old granddaughter Gracie had to help..

Pink Ribbon

The pink ribbon is now an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. It is worn to show support for those whose lives have been touched by this disease. The more it is worn, the greater the chances that the public will associate it with breast cancer.
I did this for my Aunt, she had this horrific disease and is a survivor for over 30 yrs.
I hope you enjoy this card and it is just a reminder for everyone to always remember all of these brave woman.

♥ ♥ ♥ Pretty pink Birthday card ♥ ♥ ♥

I made this little card for a young girls Birthday. I used scrap paper and I layered it with a print style paper then put a plaid paper over it then used a mauve pink card stock paper and used my marvy and punched hearts in it along the top. I added 3 little flowers and yellow & peach ribbon then made the bow and hot glued it in place. I finished it off with a sticker I had that reads " Birthday Girl".

♥ ♥ ♥ Golden Years ♥ ♥ ♥

I took some Teal card stock by Recollections, I did layers using a paper doilie and then Aqua paper also and used my Marvy die cut on the sides of the card and then on the layered paper. I added a pretty blue and white ribbon, then added light blue and deeper blue flowers. I then added a tag I made that reads" Golden Years and put baby blue and teal thin ribbon in it.

♥ ♥ ♥ Love is in the Air ♥ ♥ ♥ " Rogan Wedding ♥ ♥ ♥

above is the inside of the card on the right side the tiny love doves with hearts and bow. nothing has been written in side as they want to write something special.




♥ ♥ ♥ It is getting to be that time of year again wedding time♥ ♥ ♥
Here is a card I created for a friend for their nephew's wedding in June. This is the "ROGAN WEDDING"
I used this pretty textured paper by Bazzill Basics, I incorporated a piece of the wedding invitation to the front of this card. I also put Love Doves and with a heart and tiny Bow. I put tiny silver flower and a pearl on each of them, I also put tiny pearls on the corners of the piece from their Invitation.
I then added son ribbon across the bottom and then hot glued a Bow. this has been designed as a Gift card. on the inside I also put a tiny set of love doves holding tiny hears and a tiny bow. I hope you like this card I enjoyed creating
it as I do with all of my cards.

♥ ♥ ♥ IT'S A GIRL ♥ ♥ ♥

I made this card It's A Girl" I used textured Pink paper by Bazzill Basics. it is a hot pink in color I then added a baby bib, 3 hearts a baby carriage and a baby diaper pin with a bunny on it. I then added a hot pink ribbon across the bottom of the card made a bow and Hot glued it in place, then added a baby bottle to the center of the bow.and a little pink and white bow on the right side top of the card.
the embellishments I used are made by Jolee's boutique. this is made as a money card it has a pocket in side to put a gift.

I used paper by " Carolees Creations" for the main card and Bird house. then I added my little bird that I stamped with my bird in a nest on a tree limb stamp. I put a round piece of scrap paper behind the bird.
I added a dark brown ribbon then glued a tan button with hemp cord through it. I took pink scrap paper and stamped it " Sweet Song Bird" In maroon. then glued it on the bird house.

I made this card using lavender paper by Bazzill Basics, I adhered
a small paper doily made by Wilton. I made a Purple bow and hot glued it and a lavender and cream colored flower by Recollections. I used my rubber stamp(by cloud 9 designs) using a sage green( it reads ~ "Take only memories Leave nothing but footprints" ) I also put ink on the top and sides of my card. at the bottom of my card I used my Marvy quick lever die using my Antique Floral punch.

♥ ♥ ♥WORLDS GREATEST DAD♥ ♥ ♥

I made a simple card using paper I just got at Michael's by Recollections I used a pretty teal card stock paper then I layered it with silver paper and ran it through my Sizzix Embossing machine for texture. I made a blue square and adhered a prize cup that reads " Worlds Greatest Dad" ( I wish I still had my Dad so I could give him this card. ) the embellishments were by Sandyloin Essentials, to finish it off I placed a thin little bow by the word "DAD"

~ TRICK OR TREAT ~

~ Trick or Treat ~
here is the 2nd card that I said I would be posting today with the Help of our Sweet Grand daughter Gracie
We used some scrap paper and using my sizzix machine we cut out a Black cat, a Orange frame and a Orange pumpkin. we then glued the label stamped with TRICK or TREAT and then put it in the frame and put that on with pop dots. we then put the Pumpkin on with some Pop dots added some Halloween style ribbon across the bottom of the card and then placed a bow at the right top with hemp cord and a Yellow button we then uses some green stones for the cats eyes.
I hope you enjoy this card we had fun together making it but now she is tired and said she needs to rest LOL.

I know that summer isn't even here yet but I wanted to just make a couple. So I am posted 2 new cards of Fall type cards.

Our 3 yrs old grand daughter wanted to help me make a card the other day so I let her pick out what she wanted to use and this is what he picked she loves helping me do almost everything I do what a GREAT little Girl and we love her so very much !

Now on to the card. I used some scrap paper I have and then we used my sizzix machine to cut the frames Pumpkin and Black Cat/ I added sage green ribbon and then added a bow with a piece of hemp cord through a brown and badge colored button I hope you all enjoyed this card this as many are special to me because of the little hands that help make them.

♥ ♥ ♥" HAPPY EASTER "♥ ♥ ♥

I made this Easter card I used DCWV "the Spring Stack paper. White card stock I used my MARVY Quick Borders punch Ribbon Stitch die cut.I then used a piece of scrap Paper to make a "EASTER BASKET & Eggs " I used the Easter design and used my pop dots to glue it in place, I then used my Ross Stick glue stick to glue the Basket and Eggs in place. I used some glue on each of the eggs to give them a little sparkle I ran a pretty baby pink satin Ribbon through the the bottom of the card. and then added a thin Bow to the top of the Handle of the basket. I then looked at my card and I felt it needed a little something extra so I added this pinwheel on a stick.

I made this card using scrap paper and white card stock paper I used a cloud paper and a spring flower design paper then I added two Pin wheels I made and put brads in the center of each one I then used ink on the edges of each one/ and added a wooden stick to the pin wheels. I used yellow and whit ribbon and added a small bow. I then used my DYNO label maker and printed out

Happy Birthday I added a couple of Butter fly's and put colored stones on them I also put a CELEBRATE YOU tag on the ribbon. I then added the saying inside the card.

♥ ♥ ♥ Thinking of you teddy bear card. ♥ ♥ ♥

I made this card using a rubber stamp that I got out of the $1.00 bin @ Michaels I thought it was so cute so I decided to try it out today. I colored in the bears with Crayola Pencils I enjoy using them more then using inks.
I cut it out and put it on a Blue piece of scrap paper with Pop dots then glued it on scrap paper in a nice bright Yellow and added a Butter fly in yellow and Blue that I used my Sizzix Embossing machine using the butterfly #12 cut. I then out lined the wings of the butter fly with Stickles Glitter glue and then last I added a navy Blue satin Bow.
